This Quiet Life
Pen to page and page on branches, I dangled my feet above the natural ground. My voice inside went on auto pilot as I listened to the ensemble begin their nightly song. The sun was kissing the forrest farewell and I stayed still, becoming apart of the giving. Everything that swayed inside my ears gave a unique pleasure of character creatures. I was alone, but not really. I felt welcomed into the kingdom of harmony, Mother Nature’s gift to this world. I am luckily to experience the free beauty of presence. If only the sun would stay, then I would melt into the pages for hours. For now, I was blind and no longer in sight of my thoughts, but I still had the power to listen and feel. For I felt one with the forrest.
